As of 2006, Sky Harbor International Airport, which began operation before 1935, never had a major crash or accident. Rather, the airport continues to constantly update equipment, terminals and screening procedures each year. Future plans include a new concourse and lanes, as well as major renovations on existing structures.

One of Scottsdale's many libraries is the Mustang Library, located on North 90th Street. Like many of the other Scottsdale libraries, this one is named after a horse. If you're visiting Scottsdale, it's good to know that you can use the libraries as your local internet café.
